Restaurant Albrecht-Durer-Stube in Nuremberg

I ordered beef roulade, the food was there on time and still perfect. Warm, I will order again from the taste really great.

For Christmas we ordered a stuffed farm goose there. The collection was very quick and brisk, the owners were very nice, friendly and helpful. The goose itself was awesome: incredible crust, finely seasoned, but the meat was still juicy. Red cabbage was also very tasty and smelled and tasted like "Christmas". Thank you for the festive meal! I can't wait to see when we'll be able to try other dishes ON SITE ...

Albrecht Dürer would taste it too ... :) The restaurant has a large menu and offers many regional specialties. The decor is very rustic and suitably furnished. The food tastes very good. The staff is very friendly! I can only recommend.

Decoration on the tables and throughout the restaurant is appropriate and aesthetic. The toilets are always clean and all in all the restaurant gives a good impression. Not only was the nice staff the absolute bestseller during my visit, but also the great climate. It's always nice and we had a wonderful evening there. Quite right right to be able to plaster another dessert afterwards.

I have to appreciate that they made an effort to find a place for me in a basically booked out restaurant. The staff was very welcoming and happy to speak English. I went for the classic dish and it didn't disappoint!

If you are a demanding foodie who wants to give a try at German cuisine. Magically old setting. Great sense of service (et ils parlent francais aussi). Excellent value for money (quite affordable!)

Very tradicional German restaurant. Food here is delicious! The price is very fair for such a beautiful place (I love the place decorations) I would recommend for everyone who is visiting Nuremberg and want to try a typical Bavarian dishes. The waitress lady is lovely and very kind with everyone. Beer is amazing!

Despite the current situation, the shop was relatively full (hygiene concept implemented 👍🏼) The service was very nice, attentive and polite. Unfortunately she was alone and could have used some support today. But shouldn't hurt the rating. 5 🌟 fully earned. Excellent restaurant and outside the box !! Really interesting menu so much to be appreciated by all! The meats, salads and typical Nuremberg sausages are excellent. Excellent beer and desserts! Very nice staff and in the case of the room manager Matias also speaks in Italian as well as good English! The very nice and very helpful girls to satisfy the requests of customers who are often and nicely made to sit on the same table even if you don't know each other! I had a lot of fun besides honestly eating well! Congratulations and thank you

Lovely people place and food

This is the traditional place to go for food and drinks in Nuremberg. Perfect food for a good price. We come here every year. Awesome ambience too. Close to the center, 5 minutes to walk north in the old town.

Best ‘Schäufele’ ever.

Really excellent! Traditional Nuremberg cuisine served in an environment full of charm and history! You feel welcomed by the warm atmosphere and friendliness of the staff! We ate very well, drank equally well with a very high quality / price ratio. Better to book to be sure to find a place, in fact the restaurant is not very large. Highly recommended

Friendly people here, great typical German food, good price, cozy and warm ambience. The best German restaurant we had in Nuremberg after we spend 3 nights there. Pork shoulder is specialty here. The bill for good dinner here half of food price at the exhibition we had during lunch.

Excellent food, friendly staff and recommended by locals as one of the best restaurants with typical food from Nuremberg. If you don't have a reservation you have to get there really early to try to get a free table.

Very nice traditional restaurant. The service was friendly. We arrived a bit early and there wasn't much space to wait so would suggest arriving at the time of your reservation. Pleasant atmosphere - it was my friends birthday and the next door table sang Happy Birthday. Pork was superb and the potato dumpling was surprisingly good too.

Thank you for a very nice evening! Kudos to Matthias, our server. The service, food and wine recommendations were excellent. We had the special (pork shoulder) plus the day's special, quarter duck and they were both very tender and delicious. Their red cabbage salad side was also excellent, I left wishing I would know their secret 5 spices. There are some traditional vegetarian mains too, so vegetarians do not despair! We went for a Franconian dry red wine recommended by our server and we loved it. As a dessert we delighted ourselves with their gingerbread chocolate mousse. We would recommend you book ahead, the place is not very big. We didn't have a reservation on a December Wednesday evening for 2, but they were very amenable and they mentioned that if we call later we might find a table. We called back around 9pm and we got very lucky. The ambiance is very cosy, the walls are adorned with Albrecht Durer art prints. The Christmas decorations were in theme with the place (traditional wooden decorations).

Great pork shoulder, which is their specially, but the rest of the menu is slightly limited and it was very hot while we were there. Prices are also very reasonable.

Franconian restaurant near the famous Albert Durer house. Classic German menu, well prepared, quick services, pleasant staff and well decorated space. We ordered the house speciality of pork shoulder with a crisp crust, a lamb dish and a vegetarian dish. Turkey and fish dishes are also available. To accompany the we ordered an interesting black reisling, and other wines. Beer to is available. Best to reserve or be there at 5.30 PM when it opens.

Simply incredible... Wonderful meal that you just can't really explain it prepare for. Just know you'll enjoy one of the best, if not the best Franconian German food, delicious from beginning to end. Glad we skipped lunch before visiting Albrecht-Drürer-Stube as it left room to finish everything. You must stop by if you're visiting Nürmberg, you will talk about it for a long time.
